Hi I’m andrew
Since I was 15 I’ve always had a camera in my hand. Two years later I met the love of my life. In 2012 I went on a road trip with a group of friends and for the first time truly fell in love with the mountains. Kristen and I got married later that year. Our first backpacking experience was the Grand Canyon. From that point on, hiking has been our go to. I’ve been a freelance filmmaker for the past ten years making short films and documentaries for a variety of companies and organizations. What I find most fulfilling about my work is getting to be an avenue for someone to share their voice and their truth. I also enjoy helping viewers put themselves in the shoes of others. Empathy is one thing our world will never have enough of. And I am excited to take part in an art form that helps people develop a better understanding of their fellow brothers and sisters on this small home we call Earth.
hi i’m kristen
I love Downton Abbey, reading murder mysteries, and lightning storms. I’m a Pediatric Nurse on a break and I’m a photographer in training.
What draws me to the outdoors is how humble it makes me feel. Whether it’s the size of the Grand Canyon, the smooth surface of Yosemite’s mountains, or a hail storm in the desert, nature has a way of reminding you that you’re small. I need to be reminded of that daily.
I love hiking with Andrew. That’s all!
